I have been trying to update them twice a day so that you can get an idea of who will be racing at Benedictine University on June 8.

I will not post verbal commitments. We do have a lot at this point, but they are waiting to enter until after the Festival of Miles and the state meets this weekend. When I get an entry in, I tweet it @mwdistancefest and also @dyestatil.

1 – With the weather in the Midwest this track season being miserable to say the least, there is some wiggle room to run in the meet. If you do want to run in the meet, contact me at [email protected] or [email protected] and I can give you an answer on whether your times would be acceptable to run in the meet. If you wanted to always run the steeplechase, there are openings for that race.

2 – This is to all Chicago area college runners and local area elite runners. We can use your help in pacing these high school athletes in the races (BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS races will have pacesetters).  Please let me know if you can give a little bit of your time on June 8^th.

3 – To Illinois Coaches or parents – I need a little help with clerking the meet. I have a starter and announcer, but need some help with the young men and women that will be attempting to run fast on the 8^th. If you can give up a Saturday night and help out, I would be grateful.

I am having fun putting this meet together. I am anticipating a great meet with some fabulous performances. Last year the races were fantastic. I expect it to be better this year.
